Thomas Yip
Thomas Yip has over 37 years of experience in the insurance industry specializing in global insurance placement, risk management and strategic global business development in Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, China and Asia Pacific region. He was an Executive Director of Willis HK Ltd from 2005-2012 responsible for global network and corporate accounts practice team and look after the Pearl Delta China business development. Thomas also held senior executive positions at HSBC brokers, Heath Lambert and Sime Hoggs Robinsons Insurance Brokers as Head of China, Hong Kong and Macau prior to joining Willis HK Ltd.
In 2012, Thomas set up Seascope Risk Service (HK) Ltd in HK jointly with Seascope Group UK, he is a co-founder and a Managing Partner. Seascope provides general insurance, employee benefits, life insurance, risk management and global insurance solutions in Asia. Thomas is also a co-founder and managing partner of Bassac Insurance Brokers Ltd in Cambodia.

Thomas has professional experience and strong network connection and relationship with HK, Macau, PRC and Cambodia Insurers, brokers and distribution channels and digital insurance solutions providers.
In 2013, he was appointed by the Professional Insurance Brokers Association of HK (PIBA) as an Executive Committee Member responsible for membership, monitoring and disciplinary, PIBA is a Government Approved Body of Insurance Brokers for licensing & Self-Regulating of broker industry and members. He currently is appointed by PIBA to look after monitoring and disciplinary committee.
